<\/a>\nPonta Delgada is 2,885 nautical miles from Fort Lauderdale. We still have another 800 nautical miles to go before we arrive in Lisbon, so another full day at sea tomorrow.<\/p>\n
I got off the ship & walked around the town’s waterfront for about 90 minutes. There’s an old fort at the southwest end of the sea wall that dominates the harbor entrance.
